Terms and conditions

Plain-English terms for using Intervale and sharing timers.

Using Intervale

  • Intervale is provided as-is for personal workouts and interval timing. Listen to your body and consult a qualified professional before starting or changing an exercise or rehab programme.

Shared timers and QR codes

  • Shared links and QR codes are not guaranteed to be permanent. While shared links do not expire today, Intervale may introduce link expiry (for example, expiring links shared by non-premium accounts), storage limits or rate limits, or change availability at any time.
  • Once someone imports a shared timer into Intervale on their iPhone, their saved copy remains on their device even if the shared link later expires or is removed.
  • You can remove a link you shared from the Share screen in the app, or by emailing support@intervale.app.

Acceptable use and takedowns

  • When you share a timer, its title, step names, durations and optional display name become viewable by anyone with the link or QR code.
  • Do not use shared timers to post unlawful, abusive, infringing or misleading content. Intervale may remove or disable any shared link at any time without notice.

Intervale is made by Stephen Dawson. If you have questions about these terms, you can email support@intervale.app.
