Privacy policy
Last updated 21 October 2026.
Intervale doesn't collect, store or share any personal data.
- By default, your workouts, history and settings are saved on your iPhone and Apple Watch only. They are never sent to me or anyone else.
- Apple Health is optional. If you connect it, Intervale saves your finished timers to Health as workouts or mindful minutes, with active calories, and on Apple Watch your heart rate during a run. It reads your body weight to estimate calories on iPhone. All of this happens on your device through Apple's Health app, and Intervale never sends Health data to me or anyone else, or uses it for advertising.
- You can stop saving to Health with the Apple Health switch in Intervale's settings, or remove its access in the Health app: tap your profile, then Apps, then Intervale.
- Siri and Shortcuts only see the names of your timers, so they can start one or read your list. Your requests are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.
- There are no user accounts, analytics, adverts, cookies or tracking scripts in the app or on intervale.app.
- If you choose to share a timer, Intervale uploads only that timer's title, steps, rounds, optional display name, and a hashed per-device token (so you can delete your link later) to intervale.app.
- When you open a shared link or browse Discover starter timers, the app fetches that timer from intervale.app.
If this policy changes, I will update this page and the date above.
